Church Picnic - 2009

St John held it's annual Church Picnic on Sunday, September 13th. A great time was had by all! The weather was superb and there was an abundance of fantastic food. Everyone had a lot of fun playing challenging games.

Chris Richardson Ordination - 2009

Chris Richardson spent 27 years working as a computer systems analyst before he began his studies at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After three years in Fort Wayne, he moved to Many, Louisiana, where he served his vicarage. In April, 2009, he received the call to serve as pastor at Salem Lutheran Church in White Hall, Texas.

Confirmation Class of 2008

On Sunday, May 18th, six young members of Saint John displayed their knowledge of Luther's Small Catechism to the Congregation. They answered many questions about the Ten Commandments, The Lord's Prayer, The Creeds and the Sacraments. During the service that followed, they received their first Communions!
